Animal Adventures - Team

Jack Laquidara-Program Presenter

Jack grew up across from Silver Lake next to a swamp in Wilmington; you could find him in one or the other most days.  Jack has had monkeys, alligators, lizards and many others throughout his life.  Jack attended the American Zoo Association School of Crocodilian Biology and Captive Management in 2001 and he is the most senior staff member at Animal Adventures.  When he is not presenting animal shows to audiences of all ages, he is spending time with his wife of 34 years, Donna, three daughters and five grandchildren.

Danielle Ledger-Animal Care Staff/Tour Guide

Danielle joined Animal Adventures in the summer of 2007 as a volunteer and now she is one of our most hardworking staff members.  She is looking forward to career in zoo keeping when she finishes high school this spring.  Danielle volunteered at the Ecotarium in Worcester, and enjoys reading and learning about animals.  If you come to the center and meet her, feel free to call her Dan Smell.

Dan Gavin-Animal Care Staff/Tour Guide

Dan has been at Animal Adventures for half of his life.  He came as a camper at the age of 10, then became a volunteer, then at 14 became a full staff member.  Dan has the job of making sure that every snake in the building is fed, and it is a big job.  He is still deciding on a university but is going to study to be an exotic vet.  Dan loves to snowboard and practice his Spanish.

Stacy Cline-Head of Animal Care

Stacy has been surrounded by animals for the last 15 years.  She currently has three dogs, two cats, three rabbits, three turtles and a cockatoo at her home, not to mention her 8 year old son.  She volunteered at the LHS Barn for four years where she had a goat follow her around to classes.   Stacy managed and ran multiple pet stores; she loves to educate kids about animals, but her first love is cleaning up after them at Animal Adventures.

David Edmunds-Animal Care Staff/Tour Guide

David has been with Animal Adventures since he was 7 years old; he saw and worked with every animal at Animal Adventures.  Over the years David cleaned animals, their enclosures, given tours, presented at large events and you may see him at your birthday party or school.  David has been to Costa Rica, Peru and Ecuador looking for animals.  He hopes to go to University in Arizona and study science when he is not out golfing.

Brianna Havir-Site Director/Office Manager

Brianna began working as a volunteer at Animal Adventures, when she learned she likes dirt under her fingernails and cleaning up after animals.  Brianna was quickly hired as a full time staff member, and should you pop in for a tour, or call for information, you most likely will talk to Brianna.  Brianna was a teacher for Nature?s Classroom, leading field groups studying the wonders of the outdoor world and spending lots of time looking for animals.  Brianna loves to travel and has studied in Egypt, Costa Rica and visited many other destinations.

David Fassler-Program Presenter

David joined Animal Adventures four years ago as a volunteer where he learned the ropes by cleaning the animals and giving facility tours before he moved up to doing traveling programs.  He got his start in the animal world with rats, tarantulas, and scorpions.  David is a public school science teacher when he?s not at Animal Adventures.
