Amazing

Animal Adventure is so cool! The animals are great to check out. My family did the pick-6 tour, where you get up close with 6 animals. It was phenomenal. Jess was so nice and knew so much about all the animals. The employees here are magnificent. If this place was closer to home, we would be here once a week! Definitely worth the trip!

Loved It

Received an Extreme Tour Gift Card for my birthday- best gift ever! We were warmly greeted by the staff. Our guide was a walking book of knowledge, we learned so much about every animal there! We got to personally interact with over 20 animals. You can tell the staff really love the animals and they really treat visitors well. I can't wait to come back!

Fantastic

I highly recommend Animal Adventures! This weekend was our second time visiting and we had a fantastic time. It was my parents' anniversary, so I scheduled us the Fox Encounter class. It educational and fun, such a privilege to be near such beautiful creatures. We got to pet a kangaroo and a sugar glider! We all left with smiles on our faces.

Excellent

What an awesome zoo! You get to see the animals up close and the tours are conducted by animal technicians that explain a lot about the animals. Many animals can be gently petted, including goats, bunnies, kangaroos, even a porcupine! I did the pick 6 animals to meet up close tour. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable!

Hidden Gem

Great for families! Just the right size zoo for young children and a great deal of fun. We took our granddaughter here for a private tour. She was able to interact with many animals, who are rescues from around the country. Jessie, our guide was knowledgeable and loved the animals she helps care for. The shows are included! A great experience.

Family Fun

My 10 year old daughter and her friend had a blast here. There are so many different animals to see, and the staff are amazing- super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The animals are so cute and well cared for. We spent over 3 hours here! The kids would've stayed even longer if they could've! It was a great visit, highly recommend.

About Animal Adventures

Animal Adventures is an exotic animal rescue founded by Ed and Brenda Laquidara in 1997, but the journey began long before that. Ed has worked with exotics since his youth, and over the years gained his PhD in Zoology. Ed has even been listed as one of the world’s top 20 herpetologists. Brenda owned a pet store in Malden, MA for many years with her sister Robin.

Together, Ed and Brenda formed Animal Adventures with the mission to provide a home to unwanted and unable to be cared for animals, while educating the public about these animals. Throughout the year, we travel to many schools, libraries, colleges, and other functions. We also present at birthday parties and in the classroom. Come visit the rescue zoo to see and learn about all of these amazing animals!

If you have any questions, our friendly staff is more than happy to answer them. We understand that not everything is perfect and we are always making upgrades. Some animals get dropped off with little to no notice at all, and we do the best we can to provide a home for them. Our staff works hard each day to provide all of the animals’ basic needs.
