Animal Adventures is New England's largest, privately owned animal rescue center of its kind. We have been operating out of Bolton, MA since 1997. We started as an exotic animal rescue center and expanded into a family operated small zoo. Unlike the big zoos, we are not super fancy but do what we must to provide an enriched life for the animals. We take in hundreds of unwanted or unable to be cared for animals each year. Some, we are able to re-home and others will live here for the rest of their lives. We are open to the public for visiting, tours, classes and events. We also travel to do educational programs at schools, libraries, colleges and more. We are a USDA licensed zoo and State recognized educational facility and rescue center. We follow strict care guidelines set forth by our Founder Dr. Ed Laquidara Ph. D. and the USDA and each animals needs are met on a daily basis. Because we are not AZA all of our funding comes directly from you through programs, visits and donations. We have chosen to refrain from being a 501(c)3 organization because we feel we are able to provide a better life for the animals by remaining a small, family run business. All donations received go towards new and updated exhibits and enclosures for the animals. So on behalf of the animals, Thank You for your generous donations and continued support! Please take a moment to browse our website and see what we have to offer. We are always available to answer any questions or concerns.

Calling All Animal Adventure's Friends!
Animal Adventures has been educating families for 20 years in Massachusetts, and we love it here. Our own family resides here and the Rescue Center employs over 25 people in the summer, provides numerous opportunities for special needs volunteers, youth internships, adaptive program visitation and grade school education for multiple districts.
Our business is at risk, right now, because of a new bill introduced to the State Senate.
Bill S.490 would greatly impact the educational resources that Animal Adventures provides, as well as dramatically affect the vital funds needed to support a rescue center with a daily operational cost of over $2000.
A detail of the proposed Bill S.490 can be found here - http://buff.ly/2nphKcb
More details will follow, but we ask that you reach out to your local representative to let them know that you love Animal Adventures and that you oppose Bill S.490. Your voice can make a difference and is an appreciated way to “donate” to the Rescue Center.
